With a strong marriage of commercial understanding and customer focus, you will seek opportunities to drive sales through excellent customer experience for our the transactional websites in France and Germany. Act as the primary contact for eCommerce in Europe with all departments! Your responsibilities:
- Promotion and Campaign Management :: Agree and set up each campaign across the websites. Challenge wider business to ensure activity is strong for the specific online route to market. Brief Merchandising and Supply Chain on the volume of promotional products to hold in the distribution centre. - Merchandising to Maximise Sales :: Recommend and implement strategies to drive sales using customer behaviour metrics and analytics. Support category focus reviews by driving on-site improvements and seeking opportunities to improve sales performance, using on-site merchandising tools, navigation methods and basket building techniques. - Ranging and New Product Launches :: Ensure all relevant products are ranged online and own new brand and product launches online, ensuring findability of new products through merchandising. Support the eCommerce Trading Manager in planning execution for new brand launches. Influence the business to range new brands and products based on the specific demands of the professional customer. - Management of Website Real Estate :: Managing the merchandising schedule, proposing changes and prioritisation of space on-site to optimise performance and protect the brand. Ownership of updating and optimising web pages. - Wider Business Support :: Support customer services by briefing on new activity and answering customer queries - act as the main contact for all departments regarding eCommerce queries in continental Europe - maintain customer information pages - support in testing new website developments.
- Experience in eCommerce team, in a merchandising or trading role within Europe. - Multi-lingual including French, English, Flemish and German (preferable). - Experience in Web Analytics essential - Knowledge of Demandware E-Commerce platform desirable - Basic knowledge of HTML desirable
