      Do you want to work as an purchasing assistant in an environment full of revolutionary technology and surrounded by people who are passionated about their work and would like you to join their team. You will join a small, young and dynamic team of 4 people in Leuven.Do you get energized by ensuring a structured and highly efficient purchase to pay process? Then you are the perfect purchasing assistant for us. Your daily responsibilities will be: you verify purchase requests, you place and follow-up on purchase orders, order confirmations, on time deliveries and reception of services. Furthermore you will communicate with suppliers and try to maintain a positive, long-term supplier. As part of corporate support you will be in contact with colleagues from various countries and different sites. You are the go-to person for the business in terms of procurement processes, policies & procedures. You love to work with numbers.You support your procurement colleagues in the preparation of cost analysis. Depending the requests you are able to conduct supplier research and selection to cut costs and enhance profitability or efficiency on local purchases. Overall you are a problem solver with a preference to applying or adjusting existing practices. You have attention to detail and a hands-on approach. Optimized administration is part of your preferred way of working: you can manage and maintain different procurement databases, quality documentation and complaint follow-up.
